Cookie notice
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This notice explains how senste.ad uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have. It follows the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data more generally.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies do the same job in other ways: browser storage such as localStorage, tracking pixels, and scripts that read information from your device. PECR covers all of them. A website needs your consent to use them unless the use falls within one of the exceptions the law sets out.
Cookies
senste.ad doesn't set any cookies.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use, so we can improve the site. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't store anything in your browser.
For each page you view, Vercel records:
- the page address and the website that linked to it
- the date and time
- your approximate location (country, region and city), worked out from your IP address
- your device type, operating system and browser
Vercel tells one visit from another with a code made from your request, and discards it after 24 hours. We only see totals, such as how many people viewed a page. We can't see who you are, and Vercel doesn't use the data to follow you across other websites.
PECR allows analytics without consent when their only purpose is to collect statistics that help improve a website, as long as you're told about them and can object easily and free of charge. Ours meet that test, so we don't ask for consent, but you can turn them off below at any time.
Turn analytics off
Checking this browser's analytics setting.
Your choice applies to this browser on this device. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as turning analytics off too.
Browser storage
If you turn analytics off, we save one item in your browser's local storage, called “senstead-analytics-off”, so we remember your choice. Storing it is strictly necessary to respect what you asked for, so it doesn't need consent. It stays until you turn analytics back on or clear this site's data in your browser, which turns analytics back on.
What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, social media plugins, tracking pixels or session recording, and we don't share browsing data with advertisers.
We haven't chosen a service to send the launch email yet. If it tracks whether emails are opened, we'll say so here and in our privacy policy before we use it.
Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block cookies and clear stored site data in their settings. Blocking cookies won't affect how senste.ad works, because it doesn't set any. Clearing this site's data removes the analytics choice above.
Changes to this notice
If we start using cookies or anything else that needs your consent, we'll ask first, with an equally easy way to accept or reject, and update this notice.
