Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through senste.ad, why we collect it and what your rights are. It is written for UK data protection law: the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
EMS Trading Ltd, trading as Senstead, is the controller of your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 12006924. Our registered office is 64 Horndean Road, Emsworth, Hampshire, PO10 7PU.

What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect:
- your email address
- a source tag showing you signed up on this website
- the date and time you signed up
That is all the form asks for. Your browser sends it straight to our database provider, Supabase, which also receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider, Vercel, records technical details in its server logs. These include your IP address, your browser type and the pages you request.
Fonts. The site loads its body typeface, Work Sans, from Google Fonts. To do that, your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.
We don't collect anything else. There are no accounts, payments or contact forms on this site.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site doesn't set any cookies and doesn't store anything in your browser. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If that changes, we'll ask for your consent first and update this policy.
How we use your data and why
UK law requires a lawful basis for each use of personal data. Ours are:
- Waitlist email: to email you when Levly is ready to order. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by signing up. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Server logs: to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a website that works and is protected from misuse.
- Font requests: to show the site in its typeface. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the site as designed.
We don't sell your personal data or use it for advertising. We don't make automated decisions about you or build profiles.
Who we share it with
We use two service providers, who process personal data for us and only on our instructions:
- Supabase stores the waitlist. Our project is hosted in the eu-west-1 region, in Ireland.
- Vercel hosts the website and processes visitors' IP addresses in its server logs.
Google provides the Work Sans font and handles those requests under its own privacy policy.
We haven't chosen a service to send the launch email yet. We'll add it to this policy before we use it.
We may also share personal data if the law requires us to.
International transfers
The waitlist is stored in Ireland. UK law recognises the European Union as giving personal data an adequate level of protection.
Vercel and Google are based in the United States and may process data there and in other countries. Where personal data leaves the UK, these providers rely on recognised safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses approved for transfers from the UK.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email until we send the launch email, and for 12 months afterwards. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will. After that, we delete it.
Vercel keeps server logs for a limited period under its own retention settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- rectification: have inaccurate data corrected
- erasure: have your data deleted
- restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data
- objection: object to uses based on our legitimate interests
- portability: receive your data in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it
To use any of these rights, email connor.jones@emstrading.co.uk. To leave the waitlist, you can also reply to any email we send. It's free. We'll reply within one month, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can try to put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator:

Children
This site isn't aimed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has joined the waitlist, email us and we'll delete their details.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We set up the waitlist database so the website can add an email to the list but can't read the list back. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we'll tell you before it applies.
